DurMUN was founded in 2010 as the North East’s first Model UN conference. After receiving resoundingly positive feedback from the first attendees, DurMUN has been expanding and improving its experience ever since.
With a rich heritage and culture going back a thousand years, Durham is one of the UK’s most aesthetically stunning cities. DurMUN attendees will get the opportunity to walk down its historic cobbled streets and take in the magnificent sight of the UNESCO World Heritage Cathedral and Castle, which has been described as 'one of the finest architectural experiences of Europe'. We are enormously privileged to call such a beautiful city the home to DurMUN.
