DuEMUN is the university-level Model United Nations Conference in the Ruhr Metropolitan Area. Established in 2005, this year marks the twelfth conference hosted at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
As 2016 marks the 70th anniversary of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), this year’s DuEMUN will be dedicated to simulating this key organ of the United Nations System.
Therefore, the issue before our ECOSOC this year will be: Post-2015 Development Agenda: Addressing Food Security and Access to Water in Humanitarian Emergency Situations
