The BioBlitz Case Study Presentation is a challenging and exciting component of the BioBlitz competition. In this segment, participants will be presented with a real-life biology case study and will have a limited amount of time to analyze the case, identify key biological concepts, and develop a clear and concise presentation.
The presentation requirements are straightforward. Participants will have 5 minutes to present their findings, followed by a 2-minute Q&A session. Visual aids, such as slides or diagrams, are mandatory. A panel of judges will evaluate the presentations based on content, presentation skills, and scientific accuracy and critical thinking.
The case study itself will be distributed to participants 30 minutes prior to the presentation. It will be related to a current topic in biology, and participants are expected to apply their knowledge of biological concepts to analyze the case study and develop their presentation. This is an opportunity for participants to showcase their knowledge, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
