A subject to its name, the Associated Press is a multinational nonprofit news agency. Headquartered in New York, the press agency contributes to newspapers, televisions, and radios. Associated Press gathers news in which it will be published and also republished by the large number of media in association with the agency. Not only that the Associated Press is in collaboration with the local media, it shares material with subscribing companies overseas as well. Said companies are allowed to use the material without having to contribute to the agency, unlike associated American media, but is charged with a certain price.
