Ending violence against women
The issue that we are dealing with is regarding gender inequality that has led to violence against women. Also according to a research by the Pan American Health Organization conducted in twelve Latin American countries, Bolivia has the highest prevalence of domestic violence against women among these countries. Physical abuse and rape are the highest experienced crimes against women in Bolivia. Bolivian women have experienced sexual, physical or psychological abuse by a partner. 9 out of 10 women are believed to have experienced general violence towards them. Many surveys have been taken including one that acknowledged that domestic servants do experience at work abuse, including sexual abuse by their employers.
