Position paper for the United Nations High Summit for Refugees and Migrants
Through this document the United States of America (USA) will highlight its position on the topics before the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). These are: The status of conventions pertaining to a response in the treatment of refugees in the contemporary generation; Education and the rights, status, and necessities for refugees, internally displaces persons (IDP), and migrants in times of seeking asylum; and Sustainable Development: Methods of Preserving the Rights of refugees and migrants in times of evident neglect. The USA looks forward to working multilaterally with Member States in addressing these issues at the upcoming conference.
