SUBJECT: MAINTENANCE OF PEACE AND SECURITY - SECURITY,

DEVELOPMENT AND ROOT CAUSES OF CONFLICTS

  Encouraged by the principals of the Charter of The United Nations, the ORIENTAL REPUBLIC OF URUGUAY has adopted the stance of the Rule of Law, Human Rights, Global Security and Peace. Affirming to be an open, tolerant society and a Facilitator of Peaceful Resolutions of Disputes, always at disposal of other members states in order to reaffirm multilateralism and strengthen bonds for consensus.

  The ORIENTAL REPUBLIC OF URUGUAY, acknowledges that Security an Maintenance of Peace is a top priority for the member states and the core objective of the Security Council of the United Nations.
