The delegation from the Nation of Brunei, Abode of Peace recognise the increasing diplomatic tensions between our neighbouring states in South-East Asia. As a signatory to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), Brunei’s only claim to the South China Sea is an Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) extending 200 nautical miles from the coastline.
