Antibiotic resistance (AMR) is a natural occurrence. Over time microorganisms mutate and they adjust to the environment they live in. If bacteria is being treated by antibiotics some will develop antibiotic resistance. Overuse and misuse of antibiotics has caused rapid production and spreading of AMR.

The Magnitude of AMR
