An unprecedented level of human migration has fostered the ideal conditions for trafficking to take place and enhances the number of people who may be targeted. UNODC latest actions regarding the issue is strengthening partnerships and coordination occur through its participation in inter-agency groups such as ICAT, UN.GIFT and GMG and its management of the UN Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Human Trafficking. To consolidate its efforts against trafficking in persons, the efforts to combat human trafficking is necessary to build necessitates broad, multi-agency, criminal justice responses, both nationally and internationally, that are both flexible and cooperative in order to ensure that safe havens are eliminated. Ethiopia believes, it necessary to take appropriate and affective actions to overcome the circumstances.
