Trafficking, servitude, modern-day slavery, to mention but a few, are terms used to describe the deliberate exploitation of humans. This inhuman act basically affects every country in the world, whether as a place of origin, transit or destination. Amongst these terms, human trafficking and sexual exploitation are the most prominently reported over the years. The former has been identified as the largest human rights violation in the history of mankind. Over 63 thousand people were globally identified as victims of trafficking between 2012 and 2014.
