Position Paper for the World Health Organisation (WHO)

The topics brought before the WHO are: Tackling the global issue of child malnutrition through social reform, food production and distribution of Lunch and Establishing a strategic coordination mechanism between state and non-state actors in medical emergencies. The Republic of Malawi espouses the discussion on the two topics brought forward by the WHO and recognizes their international relevance.

The Republic of Malawi estimates the efforts of the WHO committee to discuss the issue of Tackling the global issue of child malnutrition through social reform, food production and distribution of Lunch. As nutrition is a key factor to secure human survival, the Republic of Malawi recognizes the relevance and seriousness of this issue. As research has repeatedly proven, child undernutrition often leads to mental dysplasia, immunodeficiency, stunting and infant death.
