Position Paper for the African Union
The issues before the AU are: Reducing violence in Central Africa between military and paramilitary groups and the recruitment of child soldiers and safeguarding exhaustible natural resources against foreign exploitation. Both topics are of paramount priority and utmost importance for the Republic of Congo. Therefore the delegation of the Republic of Congo is looking forward to having a fruitful debate with other delegations of the African Union and to collaborating with them in order to find possible and alternative solutions of these problems.
