1. Reducing violence in Central Africa between military and paramilitary groups and the recruitment of child soldiers
The West African country Burkina Faso campaigns for a democratic way of life in its country since the 1990s. Moreover, it is a paradigm for living without ethnical or religious prejudices. Nevertheless, Burkina Faso is afflicted by economic and social problems. While developing to a democratic state, there had been inner crises and conflicts. After the revolution in 1987 and the first democratic election in 1991, peace came over the nation. Because of limitations there is no evidence for child recruiting in Burkina Faso. Anyway there are economic problems like famine, poverty or a high childhood mortality. Having these kind of experiences Burkina Faso decides to support countries with similar problems, especially the Central African Republic, where the conflict between Muslims and Christians is escalating.
