  1. Countering terrorism and violent extremism

The development of terrorist attacks spreading out to western regions is a threat to security. It is every countries duty to prevent terrorism and violent extremism. Europe, especially France, Belgium and Germany were affected by major terroristic events lately. Furthermore, Canada was affected by a terroristic attack in Ottawa 2014, too. Aware of the fact that feeling safe and peaceful existence in a more connected world, Canada is committed to act internationally.
