Topic One: Re-Examining Russia-NATO Relations

The extent to which NATO should revert back to its founding emphasis on Articles 5 and Article 11 as it pertains to NATO-Russian relations should reflect the ideological foundations of the organization, as opposed to contextualizing the extent of any reversion to particular instances as they occur. While Greece recognizes the prerogative of NATO to deter Russian hostility to Eastern European NATO member states, modifications to the current interpretation of adherence to Articles 5 and 11 should not be made without guidance from the ideological foundations of the alliance.
