Indigenous people has experienced a drastically negative impact since the industry revolution in the 19th century. The technological innovations that have been made has rendered them “old-fashioned”, and lost the respect they once had from others. Everything they own, from their lands to their minds, is being exploited by corporations and economic superpowers to expand their modernism, stripping away the indigenous’ tradition and rights of living. Evidence shown in Africa, Asia Pacific, and Latin America makes this topic a global problem, and it needs to be stopped before it stretches its range to other regions such as Europe and Northern America.
