For the sake of both the fate of all fellow citizens and Muslims, as well as its own national security, the Islamic Republic of Iran is greatly concerned with peace and stability in the Middle East, namely Syria and Iraq. The so-called Islamic State is a danger to the afore-mentioned countries and increasingly threatens Iranian sovereignty itself.
