Topic A: World Water Crisis: Disease Management and Sustainable Solutions According to the WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme for Water Supply and Sanitation, at least 1.8 billion people world-wide are estimated to drink water that is contaminated. An even greater number drink water which is delivered through a system without adequate protection against sanitary hazards. When it comes to the water crisis, the delegate of Guatemala would like to say that clean water can change everything such as education, economics, time and especially health. In Guatemala there is more than half population lives in rural areas, 13% of rural lack access to water, 51% of rural lack sanitation which means we are truly facing this serious contaminated water problem What we have done now is working with the Charity Water, which is a non-profit organization bringing safe and clean drinking water...
