Position Paper Latin America has always been a bit of an outsider in global trading. After years when the continent was a bunch of European colonies it changed massively. Latin America countries gained independence and the new chapter in their history begun. Having said that the Latin America countries had developed in a completely divergent way. Huge inequality between some of the countries GPD and standards of living shows that Latin America is still, according to ECLAC (Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean), the most economically unequal region in the world. The situation occurs because of distribution of natural resources, as well as economic and management skills of government officials from certain countries. Honduras, El Salvador, Bolivia and Paraguay are just some of the regions in Latin America that have GPD lower than 50 billion $, whereas Brazil GPD is nearly 75 times highe...
