The 1997 Runnymede definition of Islamophobia states, "A shorthand way of referring to dread or hatred of Islam - and, therefore, to fear or dislike of all or most muslims". Increasingly and particularly among Muslims Islamophobia provides a term to draw attention to a normalized prejudice and unjustified discrimination. We witness Anti-Islamists in mostly all parts of the world attack peaceful Muslims, oppress them, discriminate them, dominate them, and nothing else but act in an uncivilized manner towards Muslims everyday. Racism whether upon open or hidden, is an evil aspect of life, which Islam seeks to eradicate.
