1967 is a dark year for the global peace and security. United Nations Security Council Delegations are gathered here to discuss and find fast and efficient solutions to two crucial political problems that threaten the world's harmony. The USA would like to stress their position of the world's policeman and highlight the fact that they have always been working on finding middle grounds in the most intricate incompatibilities. The role of the USA will unquestionably be most crucial to maintain peace.

To begin with, in the aftermath of the adoption of Resolution 181 by the United Nations General Assembly that deals with the Partition Plan for Palestine, the 1948 Israeli-Arab war broke out. The preliminary step to this conflict is the 1947-1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine. The USA recommended a United Nations supervision on Palestine in March 1948.
