Corporate boards and electoral governance performs better when the people that work there come from different realities and perspectives. Nowadays, the number of women who participate in politics and as board members of companies are disproportionately compared to the number of female workers in both places. According to the World Bank, in the Republic of Hungary women represent 10% of the parliament. Also, the European Union in 2013 stated that women represent 7.4 % of the board members of companies in Hungary.
