Could equality and cooperation exist within poverty? This is the reality in many parts of the world. Many members of the Human Right Council have the highest occurrence of documented violations of human rights because of discrimination and extreme poverty. It is becoming increasingly clear that many developing countries find it difficult to ensure people their human rights. The continuing challenges in developing, the inadequate training of human resources for health, the lack of medicine and equipment and the discrimination and marginalization of certain communities have contributed with the weak performance of the health sector in developing countries.
