Skills and Education in Developing Nations
Over the past two decades the overall level of education in El Salvador has improved; for instance the literacy rate rose to 88.4% and is now well above the world average of 86.3% . The improvements are especially measurable in the young population, aged 15 to 24, showing a literacy rate of 96% . Nevertheless El Salvador missed to fully achieve the ”Dakar Education for All” goals and the accomplishments have not improved the situation across all social classes.
