Sino-African cooperation is an ever-increasing phenomenon; both on commercial and governmental levels. While recognising the importance of maintaining fruitful relations with old partners such as France, an ally since the Côte d’Ivoire’s independence, the exchanges with China are welcomed, as they prove highly beneficial. Challenges that nonetheless accompany the benefits can and ought to be solved with the whole African community working together.
