The Middle East has been torn by a conflict deeply embedded in the area: the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It has been a cause of destabilization and violence for the region for more than seven decades. These has led to destruction, hatred and death. One of its major issues is proven to be the dispute over land.
The Israeli government has actively encouraged the creation and expansion of settlements in the West Bank, on territories which, according to the boundaries previous to 1967, belong to the future Palestinian state.
