                               PROTECTION OF UN HUMANITARIAN WORKERS

Throughout the past decade, there has been a sharp rise in humanitarian need, driven by large-scale conflicts in Syria, Yemen, South Sudan, Burma and many other countries.
Unfortunately the increased need for humanitarian aid also lead the number of violent attacks towards humanitarian workers to rise which has caused for this matter to be one of the UK’s Department for International Development’s top priorities.
