The Republic of Colombia, lead by the president Iván Duque, is a country situated in the northwest of South America, ruled by the constitution of 1991 in which it is considered as a democratic and decentralized country. Its most important exportation products are both oil crude and services, especially on the finance sector. Regarding its social situation, in 2017 it freed from a 50 year old armed conflict between the armed group of FARC and the government after the establishment of a peace treaty signed in La Habana, Cuba; nonetheless, due to current political and social conflict in Venezuela, Colombia has been facing an humanitarian emergency in the border of the country due to the massive emigration of the Venezuelan people to the border town of Cúcuta.
