Many advancements being made in the field of artificial intelligence will be useful in improving the quality of healthcare for the global population. Artificial Intelligence is defined as machines which try to mimic human-like thought by adapting to the environment to solve a problem. Japan is fully committed to developing technology to improve healthcare to support Japan’s aging population. Japanese citizens are covered by universal healthcare 1, and with new technology we can improve the quality of that healthcare.
