Dear Chairs and distinguished Delegates,

Since 1928, antibiotics are a frequent solution to bacterial infections and allowed to eliminate many contagious sickness. In recent years, irrational use of antibiotics has increased not only in medicine but also in veterinary, food and agricultural industries, which caused acquisition of resistance by various bacterial strains. PHE informs that every 5th antibiotic is prescribed unnecessarily.
