Female Genital Mutilation is a destructive process, during which female genitals are either partly or completely removed, or damaged in pursuance of preventing women from experiencing sexual sensations. It is done most frequently among pre-puberty children at the age of 4-8, however nowadays, it is getting more and more common to even subject infants to this controversial and contentious process.
