People’s Republic of China considers the problem of child marriage as a burning issue at the moment. We are taking certain steps to minimize the scale of the phenomenon as fast as possible.

 The problem of child marriage in China strongly arises from trafficking issue. There are cases of young girls being trafficked to China to get married under pressure. Nevertheless, the country is trying its best to struggle with this problem.
