Crime is a problem in every country, state, and city across the globe. This topic of crime prevention and criminal justice was recognized by the UN in 2015. The UN did this to ensure more peace throughout the world to protect human rights. Today, many countries have peace to some extent, but many do not and the UN is trying to fix this. Due to violence, many countries are struggling in developing as things such as education, economic growth, or social/civic activities are prevented. Because of these things being inaccessible or even non existent, crime levels spike. By ensuring peace in different countries throughout the world, human rights will be protected and violence levels will lower as people will get the right education without worrying about what happens outside of their school.
