The topics presented before the WIMUN body under the General Assembly Second Committee A are: food security, nutrition and agricultural development. This committee has a plethora of issues that are captivating and most importantly, relevant and critical in the modern era and for future generations. It is known that these topics give way to issues such as poverty, hunger, global warming, food insecurity and deforestation, which lead to socio-economic decay globally. These issues pose a threat to the U.N and the world’s goals to be a cohesive community, as well as sustainable development.
