Topic: The rule of law, crime prevention and criminal justice in the context of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals
It is known to all that the rule of law is the basis of the social stability and prosperity. Governments, public safety services, military forces and humanitarianism are all the factors which may lead to a stabilized and secured social environment. However, as a result of unbalanced developments in economy and political situations among countries and regions, justice is not secured in some part of the world. It is not only caused by the lack of law system but also people’s personal consciousness of. Crimes, terrorism, regional armed conflicts in less-developed areas are still intensifying regional instability as well as political turmoil.
Yemen is one of the poorest and least developed countries in the Arab world, and faces the worst humanitarianism crisis as well as difficult long-term challenges to stabilizing and growing its economy. In recent times, Yemen has also increasingly come under a threat from terrorists[1] including al-Qa'ida in the Arabian Peninsula and Islamic State of Iraq and ash-Sham-Yemen.
