The movement to empower women and to obtain equal right with men is a fight that many still struggle with every day. Although we have seen an evolution in hundreds of countries, women are still facing continuous discrimination such as perceived as objects or inferior to men. All over the world women still face abuse threatening their lives and well-being thus the importance of assuring their safety. Furthermore, this is necessary to provide a prosperous world. Women are core to our society not only for biological reasons but for their own capacities and characteristics they can bring to a nation.
