Children and Youth: Fostering Peace and Security for Future Generations

Please note ZYGMUN accepts only applications from schools, not individual students. All participants must be accompanied by a faculty MUN Advisor/Director.

Our ZYGMUN Secretariat and faculty advisors are pleased to invite your application to the second annual session of Zygmunt Model United Nations (ZYGMUN) at the American School of Warsaw from 4–7 April, 2019. Application process is now open!

Interested school MUN directors can begin the application process now by completing the ZYGMUN 2019 School Application (Form 1)

Named in honor of the Swedish-born King of Poland Zygmunt III Waza who relocated the Polish capital to Warsaw in 1595, ZYGMUN was born from the desire on behalf of a few committed students at the American School of Warsaw who recognized a need for a high-caliber MUN conference in the Central European capital.  Our inaugural conference was attended by over 60 delegates from a dozen schools, including visiting delegates from as far afield as Greece and Norway.

Please visit and bookmark our website (zygmun.org) and watch it for updates as they are made.  You can also find information about our inaugural conference, including photos and videos, under "previous events".
