Canada's Oldest Collegiate-level Model United Nations Conference - its 36th iteration gone virtual!

Founded in 1985 and hosted at the prestigious University of Toronto, North American Model United Nations (NAMUN) is Canada’s oldest annual university-level Model United Nations conference. Each February, more than 250 student delegates from all across North America, Europe and beyond arrive in Toronto and over the course of three days, engage in insightful and constructive debates on historical and modern political issues.

Considering the health and safety of our staff and delegates amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, NAMUN 2021 shall be held entirely virtually from February 18-20, 2021. All committee sessions shall be hosted on the video conferencing platform Zoom, in conjunction with MUNkey, a software customized for NAMUN that allows effective text-based communication between delegates and staff.

A few of the committees simulated at NAMUN 2021 include:

  • Integrated Crisis: Egypt 2011
  • The Mozambican Civil War
  • Disney: Disenchanted Kingdom
  • United Nations Nations High Commission for refugees

Early-bird registration is currently ongoing and concludes on Nov 30th, 2020 while the entire registration period concludes in January 2021. For more information regarding pricing & registration, please refer to our website. For general inquiries, please email us at: info@namun.org.
