After the resounding success of the first and second session of ENU International MUN in 2017 and 2018 respectively, ENU MUN CLUB goes on to resume ENU International MUN in 2019 to further promote the accurate simulation of high-quality negotiations based on the real United Nations rules of procedure.
ENUIMUN 2019 is a three-day conference for university students held from 29 to 31 May 2019. We will assiduously select 150 delegates from a multitude of countries to offer them the chance to voice their perspectives concerning issues of international concern at L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Inspired by the speech of the Secretary-General António Guterres: "Climate change is moving faster than we are. But we don’t give up because we know that climate action is the only path. Human rights are being violated in so many places. But we don’t give up because we know respect for human rights and human dignity is a basic condition for peace. Conflicts are multiplying - people are suffering. But we don’t give up because we know every man, woman and child deserves a life of peace.", the theme of ENUIMUN 2019 is “NEVER GIVE UP” to focus all the agendas of committees on solutions to rebuild hope and step up efforts of the international community in the attempt to secure our shared future.
All selected chairs will be provided with free of charge accommodation, conference materials, coffee breaks, lunches and dinners, access to social events and city tour during the conference. Chairs will have to cover international travel expenses by themselves.
