Cultivating Diplomats of Tomorrow: Uniting Voices, Shaping the Future

We are excited to announce the first-ever Model United Nations (MUN) conference to be hosted in North Cyprus. This landmark event aims to bring together students from all universities across the region, including Cyprus International University (CIU), Near East University (NEU), Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Girne American University (GAU), Bahçeşehir Cyprus University (BAU), and all other North Cyprus universities.

About MUN

Model United Nations (MUN) is an educational simulation in which students role-play delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees. This experience provides participants with a deeper understanding of global issues, diplomacy, and international relations. Delegates engage in debates, draft resolutions, negotiate with allies and adversaries, and work to resolve conflicts, all while honing their public speaking, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
