Tomorrow’s Change Is Today’s Conversation.
Diplomacy won’t save the world, but it’s a start.
The world is unravelling faster than most admit. Systems strain, voices clash day after day, yet our priorities slip further away. Diplomacy is an instrument, not a guarantee. However, in the broad political landscape we see today, there is no guarantee without it. The world is becoming complacent, and now, more than ever, we must stand together to restore the very reason we established these systems of diplomacy. This isn’t about saving the world overnight. It’s about starting, together, to put the pieces back where they belong.
About the Conference
EIMMUN, held at the Montgomery International School, is located in the Heart of Europe near the city's European institutions, including the Council of the European Union, the European Parliament, and the European Commission. The conference is a student-led initiative, created not only to provide an immersive and engaging experience for its participants but also to raise the standards for academics in Model UN. The Ecole Internationale Montgomery MUN is a conference designed by delegates for delegates, curated by the hosting school's Model United Nations team, which has a combined experience of over 15 Model United Nations conferences. The team is driven by the desire to push for tomorrow's change through the advocacy and action of today.
Some key things you should know:
Host Families 🏠
We organise a host family coordination for participants coming from abroad, with strict systems in place to ensure the comfort and safety of our attendees. Our hospitality team interviews and coordinates with host family applicants, so you do not have to take any action to secure a place to stay for the event. Space may be limited on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to chairpersons.
Guide to Brussels 🇧🇪
While natural for us locals, Brussels can sometimes be difficult to navigate. To help, we have prepared a section on our website with a master guide on public transport, tourist spots, general tips for getting around, our favourite places, and more. The conference schedule is designed to leave a few hours free on the first day, allowing you to explore the city.
Our Main Partner 💜
Penseum is an AI-powered platform that streamlines learning from uploaded materials. At EIMMUN, Penseum is a vital tool for understanding research, learning new concepts, and building a foundation for academic resources. Penseum is dedicated to improving education, believing every student deserves the best tools to succeed. They continue to innovate and transform how students and teachers approach studying and teaching. Penseum is an excellent tool for preparing for the conference and learning more than traditional research alone.
About the Experience
At EIMMUN, diplomacy is treated as a skill that deserves the right tools to grow. Delegates receive background guides, sample documents, and resources to be confident and prepared, while chairpersons have access to tools to refine their leadership skills. Committees are designed to balance academic clarity with diplomatic challenge, whether it is your first MUN or your tenth. The conference environment is also built to be immersive, treating participants like real diplomats, with a Press Corps documenting proceedings and capturing the conference narrative. EIMMUN is more than debate. Whether strategising during an unmoderated caucus, meeting delegates over lunch, or asking staff questions in the hallway, this is a space to grow with people who care.
